Assessment Guidelines

Accessing the DynamixAssess Testing Environment

  • You may access DynamixAssess via our website, www.dynamix.co.za/assess.htm

  • Once you are on the assessments landing page, scroll right to the bottom, where you will find a link to DynamixAssess.

Downloading Authorware

All testing workstations should have an application called Authorware web player installed in order to deliver the exams. This application can be found on our DynamixAssess landing page. In order for the exam to run successfully you should install this application.

You can also download the installation file from our website by clicking on "Download Authorware Web Player". This will immediately start the software download which you will need to install before commencing. Please note that on certain web browsers, you might have to close the browser for the installation to complete.

With the heightened security in Internet Explorer 7 and 8, the www.dynamixonline.co.za site must be added to the list of "Trusted Sites" before you can commence with your assessment.

  1. Click on "tools" --> "Internet Options".

  2. Click on the "Security Tab".

  3. Click on the "Trusted Sites" icon.

  4. Click on the "Sites" button.



  5. Type in "http://www.dynamixonline.co.za" and press the "Add" button.

 

PLEASE ENSURE YOU VIEW THE INTERACTIVE TUTORIAL BEFORE COMMENCING THE ASSESSMENT PROCESS.

  • It is important to go through each element of the Tutorial in its entirety. The tutorial will give you access to essential information that will help you to complete the actual tests.

  • Please do not proceed with the test if you have not read the tutorial.

  • Your username and password will be provided by the DynamixAssess Administrator.

  • Please make sure you complete the tests assigned to you.

  • Please read the questions carefully.

  • Estimated duration of an assessment is 1 hour.

How to start a test:

  1. Click on “Login” on the DynamixAssess home page.

  2. Type your Login Name and Password provided by the DynamixAssess Administrator.

  3. Once you are logged in, all tests available to you will be displayed. The testing time starts immediately after you have selected the appropriate test.

  4. You will not be permitted to perform any changes after you have submitted your test

Please note that should your test time end, the system will prompt you to submit your test immediately.
